2018 Election Timeline
4/11 SGA Officer Applications Available
4/17 SGA officer applications due by 5:00 pm to Ms. Hall in the admissions office. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
4/18 Meeting with potential candidates in room 2209 at noon to discuss the election guidelines. Interview times will be selected during the meeting.
4/19 SGA Candidate Interview
4/20 SGA Candidates will receive notification if they are approved to run for office.
4/23 Candidates’ Forum (In front of Academic Complex
Candidates must deliver a 2 minute speech and be prepared for questions. 11:00 am and 6:00 pm
4/23-24 SGA Campaign (IN PERSON): Candidates must provide their own campaigning material including a board, table cloth, pictures, etc. Campaign: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm (Lobby, outside of ATC Auditorium)
Students will have an opportunity to meet and greet the candidates.
4/23-25 Students can vote online. A link will be provided. Please check your student email. The link will be available until 9:00 pm on June 13.
4/26 Election Day: Final chance to vote. Students can vote in person from
10:00 am to 12:30 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm using laptops available in
the lobby near the ATC Auditorium.
5/3 The 2018-2019 SGA Officers will be announced.
5/11 New Officers Training (TBA)
6/28 SGA Installation Ceremony at 11:00 am (Location: TBA)
7/2 New officers will officially begin their term in office.
You may select a campaign manager to assist you if needed. Your campaign manager must be a current ATC student. Pre-approval is required.

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) membership applications will be available on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the Office of Enrollment Services.

The National Technical Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be held during the Graduate Awards Ceremony on Wednesday,
April 18, 2018 at 11:00 am in the auditorium.
